Pagato is operated by Solid Gold Performance, South Africa. We follow the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Sellers

• We keep: your business name, your name, email, WhatsApp number, a scrambled (hashed) password, the bank name and the last 4 digits of your account, and your sales.
• Paystack keeps: your full bank account number, so it can pay you.
• Why: to run your account, show your sales, pay you through Paystack, and stop fraud.

Buyers

• We keep: the email you enter, so Paystack can send your receipt and the seller's payment can be matched.
• We never see your card details. You type them on Paystack's page.

Who else sees it

Paystack (payments), our email provider (sign-up and reset emails) and our hosting provider. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Sales records are kept for 5 years for tax and dispute reasons. Other account details are deleted within 90 days of closing an account.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. Email pagato@aurummacro.co.za. You can also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
