Pagato

It's not paid until it says Pagato.

Payment links for people who sell on WhatsApp. No more fake proof-of-payment screenshots, and no more checking your banking app before you hand over stock.

How it works

  1. Type the amount. "R150, 100 vials." Pagato makes one payment link.
  2. Send it. Tap "Send on WhatsApp", or let a walk-in buyer scan the QR code.
  3. Buyer pays by card on Paystack's secure page. No app, no account.
  4. Your screen says PAID. Only then hand over the goods. The money goes to your own bank account.

Screenshots lie. Pagato doesn't.

A screenshot can be edited in a minute. Pagato only says PAID when Paystack confirms the money for that exact sale and that exact amount.

Questions

Does my buyer need an app?
No. The link opens in any phone browser.

Is it safe?
Card details go to Paystack, a licensed South African payment company. Pagato never sees them.

Can I put Pagato on my home screen?
Yes. Open Pagato in your phone's browser and choose "Add to Home screen". It opens like an app.

What can't I sell?
Anything illegal, or anything Paystack does not allow. See the terms.
